Arusha City – Tarangire National Park

After a tasty breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel together with your lunch and drive you to Tarangire for game viewing. The park is well known for the large number of elephants that congregate here, as do many wildebeest and zebras.

There are also significant populations of impala, giraffes, eland, and buffalo. Thompson’s gazelle, Coke’s hartebeest, bohor reedbuck, and both greater and lesser kudu are found here. Lions are common throughout Tarangire, as are leopards. Later during the day, you will proceed to your reserved accommodation inside the national park for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you up and proceed with game viewing in the Ngorongoro Crater. Your driver-guide will help you spot some of the many species at the crater floor, teaching you about their fascinating habits and habitats. This is perhaps the best place to see the Big Five if you are lucky.

Later during the day, you will start heading to your reserved accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Ndutu — Southern Serengeti (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)

Following your breakfast at your hotel, you will start heading to the Ndutu area inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Spend your day spotting all varieties of wildlife ‘on the move’ with your expert driver-guide. Each day is different here, but we focus of course on the Great Migration — that unique natural wonder which involves a cast of breathtaking numbers, literally hundreds of thousands of animals as they make their annual journey across the plains.

Zebra and wildebeest are the most numerous of the migrating animals here, grazing on the short-grass plains of the Southern Serengeti and the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. But your driver-guide will also be on the lookout for other wildlife — elephant, lions, buffalo, leopard, and cheetah — just some of the many species you will encounter in this stunning place. Drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full Day in Ndutu Area

Following your breakfast, you will have another full day in the migration area. This is the special area for the migratory animals to give birth. Zebra and wildebeest are the most numerous of the migrating animals here, grazing on the short-grass plains of the Southern Serengeti and the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Your driver-guide will also be on the lookout for other wildlife, using his expertise and ‘eagle-eyes’ to try to find elephant, lions, buffalo, leopard, and cheetah — just some of the many species you will encounter in this stunning place.

Ndutu – Central Serengeti National Park

The exciting sounds of Africa will rouse you from sleep as you start heading to the Serengeti. The Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience unlike anywhere else in Africa, giving you an up-close look at the animals you’ve only seen in National Geographic: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle.

Later during the day, you will proceed to your reserved accommodation inside the national park.

Full Day in Central Serengeti

After breakfast, proceed with a game drive safari in the Serengeti, exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed. Later during the day, you will proceed to your reserved accommodation inside the national park.

Central Serengeti – Fly from Seronera Airstrip to Arusha

After breakfast, proceed with game drives en route to Seronera for your way back to Arusha. From the Seronera Airstrip, you’ll take a short scenic flight back to Arusha, where the safari concludes.
