6-Day Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater & Tarangire Safari
Description for 6-Day Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater & Tarangire Safari
These memorable Africa safari packages will take you to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most stunning wildlife locations, which consists of a small but massive soda lake at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.
The park’s size makes it ideal for a one-day game drive, and it’s known for its tree-climbing lions. These safaris or vacation travel excursions will also take you to the Serengeti National Park, a large 14500-square-kilometer wilderness where each day provides a fresh landscape and excitement.
In Tanzania, you’ll visit the Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which has one of the largest densities of game and perhaps the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa. Inside a self-contained environment packed with creatures, you will experience a spectacular sight of African wildlife.
Finally, your African safari tour will take you to Tarangire National Park, which boasts Tanzania’s second-highest concentration of wildlife (second only to the Ngorongoro Crater), but is less crowded and pristine, with a wild and untamed beauty.

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning to begin your safari in Tarangire National Park. The terrain of this nature reserve is made up of bush savannah, seasonal marshes, and gigantic baobab trees, and the park is undoubtedly one of the greatest spots in East Africa to watch elephants.
They are not only found in thousands, but they also appear to be more acclimated to automobiles, allowing you to get closer to these massive beasts. It is not just the elephants that make this the one-stop answer for both bird and animal lovers, but also a diverse number of creatures such as Masai giraffes, numerous gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons, and more than 500 different species of birds.
After the game drive, you’ll depart the park late in the afternoon and drive to the lodge for the night.
- Distance: 140 km

DAY 2: TARANGIRE – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will journey from Tarangire to the lush highlands, which are home to crops such as wheat, corn, and coffee. Before continuing on to the Serengeti National Park, you may want to stop in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Any visitor to this park would be enthralled by the Serengeti’s enormous savannah, which spreads to the horizon and is filled with wild creatures. The menu includes wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, zebras, and buffaloes. The safari vehicle’s high and open roof will allow you to appreciate the park’s many habitats and sceneries. You’ll arrive at the Seronera Valley in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
- Distance: 205km
- Overnight at: Embalakai Tented Camp
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are all Included
DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
In the Serengeti National Park, the entire day is dedicated to game viewing. The regions you will visit will be determined by the location of the migrating herds. Predators frequently trail the trekking animals closely. The herds migrate from the hills in the north to the plains in the south during the short wet season in November and December.
They migrate north during the rainy season, which lasts from April to June. Because the migration is dependent on the yearly rainfall, the herds’ location may change from year to year, but your guide will know where to find them. You’ll stay at the same lodge for another night.
- Overnight at: Embalakai Tented Camp
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are all Included
DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
After breakfast, you’ll go on another game drive in the Serengeti National Park, where you may see creatures you didn’t see the previous two days. The “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, and leopard – call the Serengeti home, and you might be able to see all five today.
You’ll drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater after lunch at a picnic location, and the caldera will open up in front of you as soon as you reach the crater’s edge. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to about 25,000 animals and is around 20 kilometers wide. You’ll drive to the lodge and watch the sun set over the crater from there.
- Distance: 145 km
- Overnight at: Rhino Lodge
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are all Included
DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER – KARATU
Rise up and shine! At daybreak, you drive down into the crater after breakfast. Black rhinos, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, lions and leopards can all be found inside the world’s largest caldera, as well as elephants and mountain reedbucks in the woods on the slopes.
Buffaloes, spotted hyenas, and some of the area’s more than 500 bird species are also possible sightings. After a game drive and a picnic lunch, you will depart the crater in the afternoon to go to the Karatu lodge.
- Distance: 25 km
- Overnight at: Marera Valley Lodge
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are all Included
DAY 6: KARATU – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – MOSHI/AIRPORT
Over 400 bird species, primate-filled woods, and grassy plains can be found in the little Lake Manyara National Park. The alkaline Lake Manyara, which is home to flamingo colonies and other water birds, covers a considerable portion of the park.
Apart from giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas on the grassy plains, lions lazing in the trees and elephants munching on acacias in the forests are common sights. While boisterous blue monkey armies congregate near the water, extended baboon families congregate near the roadways. In the late afternoon, you will return to Moshi following the game drive.
- Distance: 175 km
- Overnight at: Park View Hotel
- Meals: Breakfast & Lunch are all included
