Day 2: Game Drives in Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, head for the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will go on a game drive on the Crater’s Floor and see a large variety of animals before driving to Serengeti National Park for dinner and stay.
The caldera of Ngoro Ngoro is home to the most spectacular wildlife paradise on the planet. The Crater floor’s abundant pasture and permanent water support a resident population of 20,000 to 25,000 big animals. They are not bound by the Crater walls and are free to leave; they remain because the conditions are favorable.
Gnu, zebra, gazelles, buffalo, eland, kongoni (Coke’s hartebeest), and warthogs are the most common grazing animals on the Crater floor because it is mostly grassland. Hippos, some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos, giant-tusked elephants, waterbucks, reedbucks and bushbucks, baboons, and vervets all benefit from the swamp and forest.
We will proceed to Serengeti Seronera for dinner and overnight after visiting the Ngorongoro Crater. The central Serengeti is spectacular, and March is a great time to view wildebeest migrating from the southern Serengeti.
- Overnight at: Ole Serai Luxury Camp
- Meal Plan: Full Board
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Another two days in the Serengeti plains, during which time the game drive will be able to view enormous wildebeest herds grazing in the Serengeti Central area as they migrate to the western corridor as their ecosystem.

Day 6: Karatu to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport
